Explore our premium architectural, modular, and industrial grade aluminum extrusion profiles designed for structural integrity and high performance.
In modern architectural engineering, safety balustrades are no longer viewed as simple barriers; they are highly engineered components subject to stringent building safety laws. Aluminum railing profiles have swiftly overtaken steel, wrought iron, and timber configurations across the commercial, residential, and industrial construction sectors globally. The paradigm shift is structural, economic, and environmentally driven.
Due to its high strength-to-weight ratio, structural aluminum (specifically alloy tempers in the 6000-series family) handles intense wind loading, high-impact crowds, and severe weather patterns without adding massive dead load weight to multi-story structural foundations. As urban environments expand vertically, structural balustrades made of precision-extruded aluminum enable fast-track modular installation, drastically reducing site labor budgets while improving seismic performance metrics.
Architects and engineers select aluminum railing profiles based on exact structural tolerances. Here is the engineering logic behind selecting specific alloys and manufacturing methods.
Most aluminum balustrades utilize 6063 alloy due to its excellent surface finish qualities, exceptional corrosion resistance, and high structural strength. Treated under T5 or T6 tempering schedules, these profiles undergo precise artificial thermal aging to achieve yield strengths of up to 170 MPa, satisfying structural loading mandates for commercial properties.
For custom sunrooms, pool enclosures, and glass railings interfacing between heated interiors and cold exterior zones, integrated thermal barriers (polyamide structural strips) are co-extruded into our profiles to block heat bridges, enhancing building energy ratings.
To resist salt spray degradation in coastal cities, our surface treatment technologies include premium-grade powder coating, anodizing (up to Class AA25), and PVDF finishes. These treatment methods ensure profiles meet AAMA 2604/2605 requirements, showing zero chalking or peeling over decades.
Learn about Aoli Aluminum (Brand: Aolijie), a company that has helped build sustainable cities for over 15 years through innovation and focus.
Our brand "Aolijie" is closely linked to the development of aluminum profiles in China. Since 2000, our founder Mr. Wong has worked in the construction material sales sector. During that time, China's real estate market was growing fast, which marked the official start of China's structural aluminum profile industry.
Mr. Wong realized that aluminum profiles are a sustainable, low-carbon, sturdy, and durable option for urban architectures. The goal of producing top-tier custom profiles led to the founding of Aoli Aluminum in 2009. We set up a 10,000 square meter factory in Sihui, Guangdong, and later opened our sales headquarters in Foshan.
Today, our company operates four production bases, utilizing extrusion machines ranging from 900 tons to 2,000 tons. Our annual capacity has grown to 100,000 tons, supported by a collection of over 100,000 molds across more than 100 series.
A standard aluminum extrusion factory covering 10,000 square meters was established and put into production in Sihui City, Guangdong Province. The brand "Aolijie" was founded with a mission to develop durable architectural products.
Focusing on quality management systems, Aoli Aluminum earned ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications. We also secured 13 product patents for thermal break designs and modular railing connectors.
To support rising international demand, we constructed a 100,000 square meter facility, increasing our output to 100,000 tons annually. This let us serve markets in South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
We launched a dedicated global sales office in Foshan, Guangdong in 2024. In 2026, we plan to open our first overseas sales office in Malaysia to offer localized supply chain services across Southeast Asia.
Our four manufacturing sites in Guangdong house advanced tooling, anodizing, coating, and CNC fabrication equipment.
We supply both building systems and industrial customized extrusions, conforming to rigorous global requirements.

We maintain an ISO 9001 quality management framework, conducting rigorous testing on every batch of aluminum extrusions.
To meet safety standards for structural balustrades, we implement a strict testing protocol. We conduct 100% visual inspections alongside random AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) sampling based on ISO 2859 and ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 frameworks. Every production run is documented with complete batch traceability and material certification reports.

Our aluminum building and industrial profiles are trusted in commercial developments, infrastructure projects, and industrial applications globally.

We align our engineering with sustainable technologies, supporting green building targets like LEED and BREEAM.
To reduce embodied carbon, we offer profiles extruded from recycled aluminum billets, using clean hydroelectric energy during refining. This reduces carbon output to less than 4.0 kg CO2 per kg of aluminum produced.
We design custom profiles with built-in channels and screw ports. These snap-fit configurations cut field welding requirements, helping installers save time and reduce structural weld weak points.
We are co-developing smart profiles featuring hollow chambers. These house fiber-optic strain sensors that track structural loads in high-occupancy public areas or high-wind environments.

We recommend 6063-T6 or 6061-T6 for structural railing systems. 6063-T6 offers a balance of tensile strength (at least 215 MPa) and a smooth surface finish suitable for powder coating. For heavy-duty commercial applications with higher load requirements, 6061-T6 provides higher structural strength.
For coastal environments, we apply Class AA20 or AA25 anodizing, or PVDF coatings. These surface treatments protect the profiles from saltwater corrosion, helping them meet international salt spray resistance standards.
Yes. With over 100,000 in-house molds, we can often match existing specifications. If a custom design is required, our engineering team can design and cut custom dies to produce profiles to your exact dimensions.
Our quality system is based on ISO 9001 standards. We perform 100% visual checks during production and apply random AQL sampling (ISO 2859/ANSI Z1.4) for bulk shipments. Each batch includes material test reports, including hardness, tensile strength, and dimension reports.
For standard profiles using existing molds, lead time is 15 to 20 days. Custom extrusions requiring new die creation typically take 25 to 30 days, including drawing approvals and initial sample testing.
Yes. Our structural profiles are engineered to meet loading specifications across major international codes, including IBC/IRC standards in North America, Eurocode 1 & 9 in Europe, and AS/NZS 1170 loading standards in Australia and New Zealand.
We provide a range of finishes: anodizing, electrophoresis, powder coating (including Qualicoat certified lines), PVDF coatings, and wood grain sublimation finishes.
