1. Alloy Metallurgy & Mechanical Characteristics

For aluminum extrusion doors, selecting the correct chemical composition is essential for long-term performance. We primarily utilize Alloy 6063 and Alloy 6060. Alloy 6063 contains magnesium (Mg) at 0.45–0.9% and silicon (Si) at 0.2–0.6%, creating a magnesium-silicide ($Mg_2Si$) compound. When heat-treated to the T5 or T6 temper, this structure improves mechanical performance while maintaining ease of extrusion.

T5 temper is produced by cooling profiles directly from the extrusion press followed by artificial aging. For higher stress demands, T6 profiles undergo solution heat-treatment and artificial aging.
