Advanced Extrusion Lines

Our facilities house extensive production lines equipped with modern extrusion presses ranging from 900 tons to 2,000 tons. This enables us to extrude standard structural shapes and custom profile cross-sections with narrow tolerances and uniform wall thickness.

Surface Treatment Matrix

We provide full-spectrum surface treatments. This includes protective and aesthetic finishes: Powder Coating, Anodizing, Electrophoretic Coating, PVDF coating, and realistic wood grain patterns, all applied under controlled, cleanroom-equivalent settings.

Our founder, Mr. Wong, entered the building materials sector in 2000, during a period of rapid urbanization in China. He saw aluminum as a key building material—durable, lightweight, and recyclable. 1. What are the key advantages of using 6000-series aluminum alloys for electronic cases? +
6000-series alloys, particularly 6063 and 6061, offer a balanced mix of mechanical properties. 6063 provides excellent surface quality, ease of extrusion into complex shapes, and good thermal conductivity. 6061 is chosen for structural components that require higher tensile strength and yield stress. Both alloys offer natural corrosion resistance, which can be further enhanced through anodizing.
2. How do custom extrusion dies reduce total manufacturing cost compared to CNC machining? +
CNC machining from solid aluminum billets results in significant material waste and high machining time per part. Developing a custom extrusion die allows you to create the net shape of the enclosure—including card guide slots, heat sink fins, and screw bosses—in a single extrusion pass. After initial tooling costs, the per-unit cost and production cycle time are significantly reduced.
3. Can extruded aluminum cases support IP65, IP67, or IP68 ingress protection? +
Yes, extruded aluminum cases can achieve high IP protection ratings. The main extrusion body is seamless, so sealing is only required at the end caps. By design-integrating continuous gasket grooves into the end plates and utilizing custom silicone or neoprene O-rings, our cases can achieve IP67 or IP68 ratings to protect internal electronics against dust and water immersion.
4. What finishes do you recommend for EMI/RFI shielding and electrical grounding? +
Anodizing creates a non-conductive oxide layer that prevents electrical grounding. For EMI/RFI shielding, we recommend a chemical conversion coating (such as Chromate/Alodine) or masking specific contact areas before anodizing. This leaves bare, conductive paths that ensure electrical continuity between the enclosure body and end plates.
5. What is the typical lead time for custom extrusion tooling and sample production? +
For custom profiles, tool design and die fabrication typically take 10 to 15 days. Once the tool is verified, sample extrusion and surface finishing require an additional 7 to 10 days. Mass production begins immediately after the client approves the initial samples.
6. How do you control dimensional consistency across high-volume production runs? +
We manage profile dimensions by monitoring die wear and controlling variables like billet temperature, extrusion speed, and cooling rates. Dimensions are verified during production using digital projectors, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), and Go/No-Go gauges to ensure parts remain within specified tolerances.
